  • We are wasting roughly half of our attention and time on what is not in front of us, lost in the past or calculating the future.

  • A meaningful conversation should fill up most of it.

  • Habits dont require a lot of attention space. That means you can do something while following a routine

  • Our attention space can work even more when we are doing unrelated task -- using different brain regions.

  • Letting your attentional space overflow affects your memory. Only when we pay attention to something that our brain actively encodes it into memory

  • Whenever you are considering any activity think of second or third order consequences of the activity

  • Bring heard is so close to being loved that for an average person they are almost indistinguishable.
